Downtown Disney Is One of My Favorite Places
Downtown Disney is not part of the theme parks. Since I live in Anaheim, and sometimes just want to take a few hours off from work,
we often go to Downtown Disney to walk around, perhaps go to have some lunch, take in a movie.
Or, just walk around with some ice cream. It is a fun experience for young and old.
Some restaurants are: House of Blues with a variety of all American foods like ribs and pizza.
THE ESPN Zone Restaurant is a combination arcade and restaurant:
It is a classic serving food like chops and steaks. Very noisy but lots of fun
Compass Books also has a café if you want to grab a latte and a muffin while you browse.
The Rain Forest Café is another great place to eat. It has the misty, damp atmosphere of a tropical rain forest. You can get a variety of pasta, chicken and beef.
Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen: If you are looking for something spicier. The building is modeled after a New Orleans Square style establishment.
Most of the menu has a spicy, Cajun kick to it.
